I'm mostly interested in European history, especially British history, and I also have an interest in American pop culture in the twentieth century. My list reflects these interests.

Please bear in mind that I have to manage my time when writing articles. The research process is much more efficient if I'm pulling examples from periods I already know something about. Researching people and places that are unfamiliar is difficult and typically takes longer.

Creating this article, with ten separate entries from multiple historical eras, was a lengthy process, and I didn't want to make my task tougher than it needed to be.
