I've had several comments saying this, and I'm genuinely confused.

What's the difference between a fact being about her and a fact being about something that happened to her?

Is it a question of personal agency? In other words, it's only an uncomfortable fact if she was responsible for what happened. If so, then I simply disagree with that idea.
